Description
Perched high upon on a 16-mile long mountain in Lonaconing, Maryland, this 481-acre park is the perfect place to cool down on a hot summer day. The park features a fully accessible swimming pool, three large group pavilions, a group campsite, a rugged 4.5-mile mountain bike trail, a recycled-tire playground, and a fishing pond.

From Interstate 68 use Exit 34 for State Route 36/New Georges Creek Road. Go South on Route 36 towards Westernport for 6.5 miles. Upon entering the town of Lonaconing, turn left onto Water Station Run Road SW. Follow this road up the mountain for 1.8 miles. Turn right onto Recreation Area Road SW and follow it for approximately 1/2 mile into the main area of the park.
