Overview
Description
Enjoy beautiful views of the Potomac River! This park features numerous views of the Potomac River and surrounding mountain ranges. The Point Kilo picnic area provides a beautiful spot to enjoy nature. Access to the Western Maryland Rail Trail, C&O Canal, and Sideling Hill Creek are offered as well. The park offers two group camping areas.

From the East:
Take exit 77 from I-68, towards MD 144/Woodmont Rd. Turn left onto U.S. Scenic 40, Turn left onto Western Pike/US-40 Scenic/MD-144, then turn right onto Woodmont Rd. Go 6.3 miles on Woodmont Rd., then bear right onto Pearre Rd. Go about 2.1 miles on Pearre Rd. which turns into Zeigler Rd. Follow Zeigler Rd. for .8 of a mile and the park entrance is on the left.
From the West:
Take exit 68 from I-68, towards Orleans Rd. Turn south onto Orleans Road. Travel on Orleans Rd. for 5.8 miles, then turn left onto High Germany Rd. toward C&O Canal Fifteen Mile Creek. Use the underpass and make a left turn to continue on High Germany Rd. Travel 1.3 miles and bear right onto Zeigler Rd. After 1.5 miles on Zeigler Rd. the park entrance will be on your right.
