The 17-acre Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad State Park and Visitor Center immerses visitors in Tubman's world through exhibits that are informative, evocative, and emotive. Understand the value of Tubman's early years in Maryland, experience a rescue mission on the Underground Railroad, and become inspired by her work as a freedom fighter, liberator, leader, and humanitarian. Outside the Center, a walking path through the legacy garden offers a place for quiet reflection and meditation. The park is surrounded by Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge offering a myriad of opportunities for hiking, biking, wildlife observation and photography and is open Tuesday through Sunday, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Reservations must be made 1 Day(s) ahead of arrival and can be made up to 365 Day(s) in advance.
