Overview
Description

Located at the headwaters of Maryland's largest freshwater swamp, the Zekiah, Cedarville State Forest invites exploration and adventure of diverse natural, recreational and historic features. This park offers a beautiful woodland setting with freshwater fishing and more than 19 miles of trails enjoyed by hikers, mountain bikers, and equestrians. Family and youth group camping are popular activities at this park. Over 50 species of trees thrive in a managed forest, demonstrating an array of forestry practices.
