Rosaryville State Park was established in 1976 and is a 1,227 acre park which was once part of a land grant owned by Charles Calvert in the 17th century. Hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and picnicking are available. Two large pavilions are available for rentals. All park users must pay the park entrance fee - $3 for Maryland residents, $5 for out-of-state. The charge is per vehicle Monday - Friday, and per person on weekends and holidays. Alcohol and amplified sound are not allowed in the shelters. Park hours are from 8:00 a.m. - sunset. Shelter hours are from 9:00 a.m. - sunset. Email: cedarville.statepark@maryland.gov
