Description
Escape the daily hustle and bustle of the city and seek the solitude of nature! This day-use park, with a 90-acre lake for boating and fishing, also features picnic areas, rental picnic pavilions, recycled tire playground, and a disc golf course. The Schaeffer Farm Trail Area offers 12 miles of marked trails for hiking and mountain biking. For the more adventuresome hiker, the 16.5-mile Seneca Creek Greenway Trail follows the entire course of the river. Historical sites include a mill and a one-room schoolhouse.
